Hi,

Due to the nature of how the our backend virus software works, When amending or updating your strats, please save your updated file with a NEW file name each time its amended instead of saving over the existing filename.

this is because when your strat is loaded, the virus software sometimes locks the file so you cannot update it.

Best practise would be:
1. Open existing strat
2. Update as you need
3. Save strat with a NEW filename. (ie v1, v2 etc)

This is also good practise for version control if teams have different people working on strats.

When your strat work is complete, use strategy manager to tidy up your secured team folder.

This will guarantee your work is saved properly.

aye, its taken us a week or so to get to the bottom of it. at least its not our code..

we've restored your file m8. just decompiling it so we can test. hopefully it'll save you some time having to redoo your strat from scratch.

You should also download the strat to your personal machine as a backup as well. that way you can simply re-upload it back to the server.
