Hey fellas,
I just stumbled ober this. Great stuff, I like this.
We're competing in a TR ladder for CoD4 and 5. I would like to use this tool for discussing these tactics there aswell but we play on custom maps most of the time.
Any chance you guys will add customs too?
Greetings,
Remington

Hi,
I cannot speak for the developers, however there is a workaround for using custom maps with TactisBoard, without having a released Tactics Pack.
If you can aquire the map overheads/screenshots for the selected custom maps which you wish to work with, they can then be uploaded to your TacticsBoard (Must be .jpg image files).
To do this, login to your board as an admin, then go to the "Admin" menu, and "Upload Canvas Image." Browse to your map image, and upload it. To load it, now go to "File" and then "Load Canvas." Now you can select the map image you have just uploaded, and work on it and save it with your tactics just like it was part of a Tactics Pack.
If you require any assistance with this, please do not hesitate to ask.
Regards

You can get this by either putting it on ur server and speccing out and then you can screenshot it, and load it under custom image. Or you can contact the developer and ask for the compass image, and then load that up.

Thanks for your responses guys.
I'll set up a dedicated server on my machine and will jump into it. I guess with /noclip 1 I should get nice overhead maps aswell.
If I can't get it to work, I'll let you know.
Greetings,
Remington

I tried the first map already and it loaded it up. But it didn't fully show it, since it was too big, I think.
What are the seizes of the pics you use actually?

I dont know the actual sizes, but, just to check, you did try zooming right out yeah? (I dont mean to insult your intelligence!)
(Go to the "View" menu, and just continually zoom out).

Thanks for the help.
I tried to zoom out, but due to my pic having different proportions it just gave me results I wasn't too happy with (too small or edges cut off).
I'll try it with the original canvas seize and tell you how it worked.
